John P. Fishwick, Jr. is the President of Virginia Online Legal Research Company. He is a graduate of Harvard College (B.A. 1979) and Washington & Lee Law School (1983, cum laude) where he was an editor of the Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Honorable James C. Turk, U.S. District Court Judge for the Western District of Virginia.

John is a member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference and Post Chairman of the Virginia Bar Association Law Management Committee. He is a member of the Bar Council. He is a member of the following groups: Virginia State Bar, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and American Trial Lawyers Association.
